Singing Vlog - I Could Have Danced All Night - The Vintage Singer

I’ve been in a terrible funk lately - those close to me know my health and ability levels take a toll on me. It’s isolating to be disabled especially if you were already an introverted autistic person who struggled to be valued in your social circles. Maybe I’ll start going deeper into that later if y’all want some mental health content with your singing vlogs.
Today I challenged myself to film one song and post it. While most venues aren’t very accessible right now the internet is thankfully a venue people with most ability levels can access. I’m going to challenge myself to sing at least twice a week and post it. Your voice is an instrument and needs to regular upkeep if you want to maintain your skill set. I thought it would be smart to begin with a song I’ve been singing my entire career and even before I chose singing as my one true love. “I Could Have Danced All Night” from the musical My Fair Lady. It’s a rite of passage for every Broadway aspiring soprano to sing this, and I also sang it at every single shift I worked at the singing diner that must not be named. This is my first time singing it in at least six months if not closer to a year. I hope you enjoy.
