Man blocks school bus after kid flips off wife; Roger Barrett arrested

Catoosa County's online inmate roster shows 55-year-old Roger O'Neal Barrett was arrested and charged with disruption or interference with operation of public schools. A judge set his bond at $1,000. We obtained Barrett's booking photo on Wednesday.

An investigation is underway in Catoosa County after a man reportedly stopped and blocked a school bus full of children, demanding to know the name and address of a child who raised her middle finger to his wife.

The incident happened Monday at 4:30 p.m. near Stewart Road and Smith Chapel Road, east of Ringgold.

A portion of the incident, involving students from Ringgold Middle & High School, was caught on video and shared on Facebook by Scarlett Grace Rutherford Monday evening.
