Cooks Run is a designated Blue Ribbon trout stream and a tributary to the South Branch Paint River in Michigan's Upper Peninsula. It runs thru the Ottawa National Forest and access is plentiful via Highway 2, Highway 16 and Basswood Road. It is one of the few spring creeks in the area and is primarily a brook trout fishery with an occasional brown trout.
