Furi Sword Only Run (Furier Difficulty)

Furi with no shooting at all. Sword hits only and parrying is allowed. All fights are on Furier difficulty other than the line final phase.

I have not played this in ages and am not that good either so excuse the bad gameplay.

The Chain - Same as normal only his final phase is a bit harder as you need to parry the balls to make space.

The Strap - No Changes

The Line - On Furi difficulty the 1st phase is impossible but on furier the whole fight is possible. For phase 2 because of the waves spawning when you hit the pillar the best thing to do is parry the ball projectiles back at the pillar instead of melee attacking yourself. Phase 3 is extremely easy just parry dodge the wave do 1 charge and repeat. Final phase for Furi is really easy thanks to the i-frames for charged attacks but on Furier it is insane. I am still actively developing a strategy and giving it some attempts but it will take a while. I have yet to beat the final phase on furier and my record for the pillars is 5 destroyed 3 left. I just beat the phase 3 on furi difficulty and put it in the video but the furier difficulty is possible.

The Scale - No Changes

The Hand - No Changes

The Song - For Phase 1 most of the damage is from parrying the fly in attack as it is always classed as a perfect parry letting you do the follow up. You can also attack her after certain attacks sometimes but never fully tested it and she dodged most of the time. For Phase 2 she has a consistant opening after her laser attack. You can also guard her fly attack again for consistant damage however for some reason if you charge your square attack you will always get hit for some reason so make sure you are neutral when going for the parry. Phase 3 she has the fly opening and when she shoots her balls in a circle at you once she catches them again you can charge attack her. Her attack where she covers the arena in balls and shoots waves is hard to dodge but if you clear some balls with charge square and focus on dodging the wave you should get through without much damage. Phase 4 she has openings after her melee string and her ball shooting attack and lastly after the attack where she goes to the centre and spawns balls. Phase 5 she has an opening when she spawns the falling shots, after spawning the wave with purple orbs, her melee string and after her attack where she goes to the centre and spawns rotating waves. For her final phase you can melee the pillars to beat the fight. There is also no point in prepping the pillars as she fully heals all pillars once one gets destroyed so destroy one at a time. I start at the top as I find it more uncomfortable to avoid things from then go around.

The Burst - You can catch her in all phases as long as you bait a shot near the 2nd pillar wall or the wall closest to her platform then dash in and attack her. You can also wait til she aims at you then dash in as she will not move until after she finishes shooting so you can catch her like that too. For her drones I though you could not melee them so just parried to destroy them but found out later in this attempt you can melee them so just do that instead. You can also lose a life after the drones to reset as you will not get trapped again letting you have full health for when you catch the burst. Her fight for when you catch her are not too much different from normal so should not be much trouble.

The Edge - No Changes

The Beat - Parrying is the only way to deal damage in these phases. For phase 1 you have to angle the shot from the drones so that when it goes back to them it hits the beat which I found to be around the centre of the 4 circles on the floor opposite each drone. I find the closer to the top I am the more consistant I am in hitting the beat with the parry but you can test around to find the perfect spot for you. Then for phase 2 you do not need to aim and can just parry the white balls back at the beat. Then you just beat her final phase and you are done.

The Star Phase 1,2 and 4 are possible with sword only as you can damage him with parries but phase 3 and 5 I found to be impossible. I have not done the fights in the sword only conditions but I know it is possible as I have dealt damage in them conditions. Phase 3 no matter what I tried I could not get any parry to hit the hands so likely impossible. Phase 5 you can deal damage towards the end of the full attack but only 2-3 parries and when he restarts the full attack again he full heals so I believe that is also impossible. I will do the DLC fights too, Bernard is possible and has been done before (‪@YuriOnlyPlease‬    • Furi Onnamusha Bernard Sword Only 8:26 (WO...  ) but the Flame has not however thanks to ‪@Dircashede‬ I have a possible strategy for the final phase and it is possible but I am still attempting the fight.
