A way to polish a tarnished cymbal

Just using tools that I had around the house and some metal polish. I know some people like the sound of tarnished cymbals, but I prefer the look and sound of a clean cymbal.
After listening both before and after the cymbal was slightly brighter in my opinion. I should have done an audio comparison but didn't think about it until after lol.
As far as the logo. I have newer cymbals that I have used this method on. I just skip the Brasso and polish around the logo. When I get close to the logo I do it by hand. If you prefer a shiny cymbal, this will actually even work on lower quality cymbals like a Sabian B8 or Zildjian ZBT. Those cymbals can have that orange hue to them and polishing them will make them shine and lose that orange tone.
