BUNYA MOUNTAINS | Camping in one of Australia's most beautiful National Parks

Home to one of only seven native Pine Trees, Bunya Mountain National Park is home to the worlds largest Bunya Pine Tree. Unique with 10Kg plus Volleyball size Pine Cones the Bunya Tree fruits every three to four years creating a fantastic food source. This three yearly fruiting created Australia’s largest gatherings of Aboriginal tribes who would gather to harvest the cones and nutritious nuts.
