Star Trek Captains Logs Declassified

I had always wanted to redo my battle between the Enterprise refit and a K't'inga class battlecruiser. After having re-textured these models (which are going to get another retexturing now that this project is completed), I decided the time was right, at least for this effort.

I know some Trekkies/ers are going to bemoan my use of music from JJ Abrams' Star Trek, in blend with music from Star Trek The Motion Picture. Well, I just chose what I felt was appropriate to the scenario. I would've used music from Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country if I still had that soundtrack (which is probably my favorite of the TOS crew movie scores).

Anyhoo, this time out, I decided to play it out as a declassified mission briefing. I know I don't make a good Captain Kirk in my voice overs, but, I did try to come close....using the video game "Star Trek Legacy" as inspiration for William Shatner's speaking style.

This story takes place shortly after Captain James T. Kirk commences his second five year mission, this time aboard the refit U.S.S. Enterprise, so it takes place between Star Trek The Motion Picture, and Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan. (The stardate, for those who are a bit savvy about stardates, will indicate this.)
