We are in the engine room of New York State Marine Highway tugboat Sarah D, where we see the two main engines, which are two Caterpillar D399's, as they get fired up. If I am not mistaken, these engines are original to the tugboat, which was built in 1975. We also see the Western reduction gears, which reduce the shaft of the engine to the propeller shaft at a ratio of 4:1. The generators that can be heard in the background are Detroit Diesel 4-71's.
