What’s a Good Wealth Advisor?

(edited transcript) ... When we talk about the idea of “What is a good wealth advisor?” It starts with and reflects onto the goals and the wishes and the concerns of the client. And we said that multiple times before. But the biggest challenge on this is that so much of it is esoteric until it happens. And what we don't want is to have someone who gets into an event and says, whoa, whoa, whoa, that wasn't real. So we do a lot in terms of the prep work with clients. But the reality, too is this is what's so important about not just starting a plan and then letting it go. Like it's a grand watch that you wind up. The idea is we need to be continually working together. And maybe, life changes. All of a sudden you have kids, you have kids are going off to college. You've got this, that and the other thing. You obviously want to grow, but you also want to be suitable and make sure they're like, in the stuff that they should be in. Not because we think it's going to go to the moon, but it's like, hey, what's best for them. I say this to clients all the time, and I'm sure you do as well. The first two years of retirement, that's such a huge philosophical transition, all the goals that you've created in our glorified calculator and all those sorts of things, that's when they start to become reality. And that's where it's really important for us to continue to check in and be like, is that accurate? Yeah, more or less. What's the impact? All of those things. That's what's a good wealth advisor.
