The first-ever Philippine Women's Open (a WTA 125 event) is scheduled for January 26–31, 2026, at the newly refurbished Rizal Memorial Tennis Center in Manila.

Alex Eala: The Philippines' top-ranked tennis star (World No. 49) headlines the event after receiving a wildcard entry. She recently competed in the 2026 Australian Open before returning to Manila for this historic home tournament.

Tennielle "Tenny" Madis: The country's second-ranked player and an ITF junior standout was also awarded a wildcard for the main draw.
