Welcome to Episode-2 of North East Exploration Series where we are travelling from Bangalore to the town of Menchukha-a hidden gem in Arunachal Pradesh!
Menchukha, also called Mechuka, is a quaint place and is haven for travellers who just wanna live a slow life atleast for a while.
our journey started from Bangalore, then Kolkata for a layover, then Dibrugarh to Aaalo, stayed in Aalo (Reyi Homestay) for a day, then finally Aalo to Menchukha. Though Google Maps says it's a 6-hour feat, but no no no....it takes easily more than 9 hours to actually reach Menchukha, which is quite an adventurous journey in itself!
