I am familiar with this ground issue causing power loss in 2014-2018 Chevy and GMC pickups. I am sure it also applies to SUVs as well but I cant verify that. I would think that GM has issued a TSB about this but I don't know for sure. If your truck suddenly looses all electrical power and comes back on or comes on after a jump start this is a good thing to check. It is not difficult to do. I do recommend a 1/4 drive metric socket set with a wobbly and a trim removal tool set. Lets have a look at what needs to be done.
