The Switch Hitter series by True Ames fins attempts to showcase the feel of the relationship between surfboard and fin. There is commonly a "go-to" fin for every surfboard. But in the fin box era, surfers are given the opportunity to experiment and test the boundaries of what fins work in their favorite surf sleds. Switch Hitter compares and contrasts the feelings of two different sets of fins, mostly on opposing ends of the spectrum, but which are still completely viable options for the specific board on hand.
