ASICS GEL-SONOMA 7 GTX LAST REVIEW R.I.P!

This is my final review of the ASICS GEL SONOMA 7 GTX running shoes.
They’ve held up well over time, and I still highly recommend them for running, hiking, and everyday walking.
Although ASICS lists them as “standard width,” I can confidently say they feel wide in the toe box—especially helpful if you need extra room. I’m wearing size 28cm.
After extended use, the cushioning has worn down, and the outsole traction isn’t what it used to be. That said, no water has penetrated the shoes so far, and the construction remains solid—no visible holes or major damage.
They’re lightweight, reasonably waterproof, and built to last. Just keep in mind that the comfort and grip will fade with heavy use.
