Ridge gourd (beerakaya) – 1 medium, peeled & chopped
Milk – 1 cup
Cut Onions – 1cup
Oil – 1 tbsp
Cumin seeds – ½ tsp
Green chilies – 2, slit
Curry leaves – a few
Turmeric powder – ¼ tsp
Salt – to taste
*Instructions:*
1. Heat oil in a pan and add mustard seeds.
2. Once they splutter, add cumin seeds, green chilies, and curry leaves.
3. Add chopped ridge gourd and sauté for a few minutes.
4. Add turmeric powder and salt, mix well.
5. Pour in milk and cook on low heat until ridge gourd is tender and curry thickens.
