I was finding water in the trunk of my Touareg after rain. Concerned by the smell and risk of damage I decided to investigate and managed to localise the problem to a disconnected drain hose. This is a short video of how I found and repaired the leak. Hope it is of use to somebody. Thanks to @intoeverything6641 a fellow Touareg owner for providing a DIY video that assisted me in sorting this problem out, particularly how to remove the trim without damaging it.
