Greenergy Development Corp., a company based in Cagayan de Oro submitted on Sept. 22, 2025, an unsolicited proposal to rehabilitate, operate and maintain the Agus-Pulangi Hydroelectric Complex, which has historically provided the backbone of the Mindanao power grid. Engr. Cerael Donggay, president of Greenergy explains the unsolicited proposal in the press briefing that capped the four-day energy transition roadshow dubbed The #RoadtoRenewables: Conversations on Energy Transition in Cagayan de Oro last Sept 23-26.
