Ottawa has earned its global reputation as a vibrant city for medical research and innovation. But if it wants to keep its top researchers in the region and build a thriving biotech sector, more lab space and private investment will be needed.
Hear Jean-Simon Diallo, founder and CEO of Virica Biotech Inc, scientist at the Ottawa Hospital Research Institute, and associate professor at the Faculty of Medicine and Dane Bedward, CEO of NeuroBot Inc on how the Advanced Medical Research Centre (AMRC), will bring together researchers, health-care professionals and investors to accelerate the discovery and commercialization of life-saving therapies.
