Rose Parade 2026 (Behind the Scenes) LIVE!

The 137th Rose Parade presented by Honda is taking place today, January 1, 2026, in Pasadena, California. The event begins at 8:00 AM PT (11:00 AM ET) and follows a 5.5-mile route along Colorado Boulevard. 
Key Event Details
Theme & Grand Marshal: This year’s theme is "The Magic in Teamwork," and basketball legend Earvin "Magic" Johnson serves as the Grand Marshal.
Weather: For the first time in 20 years, the parade is facing rainy conditions. Organizers have banned umbrellas along the route for safety and visibility, urging spectators to use ponchos instead.
Lineup: The parade features 39 floral floats, 19 marching bands, and 17 equestrian groups. Notable floats include The UPS Store’s "Sharing Skills for Success," featuring a 32-foot-tall seahorse.
Performances: Singer Bishop Briggs is scheduled to perform, with Capital Citiesand Dek of Hearts performing in the grand finale.
