Legacy Heir #6: Sareena Kombat
Kaylynn writes an article about the newest outfits & starts a fashion blog. Julio completes his first freelance job in a while: creating movie character concepts. Sareena arrives home from work stinky, exhausted, & pregnant & passes out from exhaustion. Kaylynn is there when she awakens, saying she appreciates how hard she's been working. She suggests that Sareena throw a baby shower. Sareena loves the idea, especially since she finally has some time off to prepare for giving birth in the coming days. Kaylynn feels the baby kicking & it finally sinks in for the two that they're going to be parents. They couldn't be more excited & Kaylynn professes her love before sending an exhausted Sareena off to bed. The next day is Sheeva's birthday & she treats herself to some new kitchen appliances: a dishwasher, rice cooker, pizza oven, & stand mixer. Sheeva is super happy about her new purchases & bday as she heads off to work. While she's gone, Julio dies of old age. With Kaylynn at work & Smoke at school, Sareena is left to face the tragedy alone, but she perseveres. Her aunt Sindel (& a group of randoms) gather to grieve with her. Sheeva blows out the candles at her birthday party & ages up to an elder. Twin sister Sindel ages up at the party as well. Her mother invited Nitara to the party, hoping she & Sareena would make up. Sareena sees Nitara sitting alone & realizes Nitara must be hurting or going through something for her to lash out the way she did, despite her mean trait. Sareena is still very hurt by her actions, but seeing her family talking to Nitara & how much they want them to makeup, she approaches he estranged friend. Nitara immediately consoles her on the death of her father, which warms Sareena's heart & she allows her to feel her baby. Nitara is thrilled about her pregnancy & Sareena invites her to her baby shower. They don't talk long, but it feels like old times & Sareena begins to feel hope for their friendship.
