We got one of the long awaited, Mr. Fox Turkey Vests from Mossy Oak. This vest was a very limited edition vest that Mossy Oak launched this spring at the NWTF convention in Nashville, TN. The vest is built extremely well and meant to be an heirloom to pass down for generations. This is our initial thoughts and unboxing. Time will tell and we plan to put it through the ringer this season and follow up with a proper "review" after plenty of in the field use.
The following is from Mossy Oak about the history of the vest and it being 75 years in the making:
"Mr. Fox once said “The good that men do will live long after they are gone” This vest symbolizes what it truly means to be a gamekeeper. It is a symbol of giving back to the resource more than we take. It is a symbol of hope, that by following the example that Mr. Fox and people like him have set, wild turkeys will thrive for generations to come."
