Actor Paresh Rawal’s upcoming film The Taj Story has stirred controversy even before its release. On Monday, Rawal shared the motion poster on social media, which instantly became the center of debate. The poster shows him removing the dome of the Taj Mahal and taking out an idol of Lord Shiva from inside. Following this, the makers have been accused of promoting an unproven claim that the Taj Mahal was built by replacing a Shiva temple. Critics also argue that the film could disrupt communal harmony. The filmmakers, however, insist that the monument stands on the site of an ancient Shiva temple.
