Recorded on January 18, 2026 during a relaxed afternoon with close friends in Washington, DC, this mix captures a feeling of ease, presence, and shared energy that unfolded organically.

This session was about connection over perfection. Friends spending time together, laughter in the background, music moving freely, and me selecting and blending tracks I genuinely love without pressure or expectation. Everything felt unforced, spontaneous, and alive.

Halfway through the set, I passed the decks to my friend Emily, who trusted her instincts and brought her own warmth and personality into the room, adding to the collective flow of the moment.

House music matters deeply to me because it feels transcendental. It allows me to let go, move freely, and experience joy in a way that feels both grounding and expansive. In those moments, time softens, the mind quiets, and happiness emerges effortlessly. There is something profoundly liberating about being immersed in rhythm, repetition, and groove, where expression replaces overthinking and presence replaces control.

I am immensely grateful to my friend Mike for opening his beautiful home, and to everyone who showed up with openness, generosity, and good energy. These shared experiences are ephemeral, but the feeling they leave behind lasts far longer.

This is why house music continues to shape my life. It brings people together and transforms ordinary afternoons into moments worth remembering.
