Employee held at gunpoint in robbery related Las Vegas shooting

Robbers remain wanted after shooting a woman in the back while stealing money from a store in a Las Vegas shopping complex.

The owner of the Gift Card Shop on the 5700 block of Charleston near Jones said the robbers “accosted” the employee who was on the way to their car in the back of the business while leaving work on Monday.

Las Vegas Metropolitan Police responded to the business after 10 p.m. for a report of a robbery-related shooting. Police said the woman shot was taken to the hospital but has non-life-threatening injuries. Two suspects left in a dark colored sedan and are currently outstanding.
