Receive SSB with a S-38! In this video we review the clean up of the controls, trimmer caps and chassis. We replaced two tubes as well. 455 Khz full alignment along with initial BFO alignment. An overview of oscillator alignment is shown. A modification to the BFO was completed to order to receive SSB with a full demonstration. We will complete two more videos on full alignment and the BFO modification later.
-Sorry in advance for our camera. Seems when auto focus engages it also changes the video size. We are unable to prevent it and it seems like a firmware issue. We will in the upcoming weeks ahead, replaced the camera.
