Building and Painting a 1/35 Diorama from scratch

In this video tutorial I show how I painted and weathered the WW2 1/35 diorama I scratchbuild from styrofoam in the last video.
Starting with using AK Interactive black acrylic primer I painted the barn made from styrofoam and balsa wood with acrylic paints and weathered it to a realistic looking building. The roof made of Juweela Scenics iron sheetings was also weathered with acrylics, but here enamel rust products like rust streaks and light rust wash were used too. To finish it I used moss deposits and decay deposits. Moss blobs were created with using Fine Turf by Woodland Scenics and again Vallejo paints. The wooden parts were painted and weathered so they look like old wood you can maybe find on an old farm barn. The base plate was pre coloured using Tamiya paints and my airbrush, as a foundation for later brush painting an weathering. The vegetation was painted and varried with acrylic paints. Ammo Migs laser cut paper plants, in this case nettles, were assembled and painted and placed in the realistic scenery. Plants from Diorama Presepe finished the wild meadow area.
The next video will be a figure painting tutorial where I paint the figures to this scene.
