This is the second novel in Brandon Sanderson's 'Kickstarter Secret Projects'. It's a stand alone Sci-fi/Fantasy novel in a completely different universe (NOT COSMERE).

The world building and the magic system has extreme potential. It's one the few magic systems that I actually wish can come true. It's every fantasy lover / book reader's dream. I hope he writes more stories set in the world of 'The Frugal Wizard's Handbook for Surviving Medieval England'.
