Khadija Omar Spent 10 years in a Kenyan Refugee Camp before her family was granted a new life in Canada.
She will never forget how the family had to leave their two months old sister behind for a year and the sacrifices her parents made to make Khadija and her siblings succeed in life.
Today, she goes in record as the first ever Miss World Somalia and the first Hijabi contestant.
Despite some people telling her she would have been more beautiful without a Hijab or if she was a bit lighter,this 20 year old is so proud she did not let any of that influence her
