Chinese New Year 2024
Happy Chinese New Year! During my annual photowalk at Ongpin, Binondo, Manila, these are some clips I took. Ongpin Street, also referred to as the oldest Chinatown, was bustling with Chinese celebrants. During the celebration, loud drums, fire breathers, lucky charms, boxes of Tikoy, and dragon and lion dances were all over the place. Lines for Fried Siopao, Hopia was a hit show. Many others also attended the parade, screaming and jumping to grab the sweet treats and golden chocolates that the Chinese community threw aboard floats.
