After eight long rounds of intellectual exchanges against debaters from across the Asia Pacific region, four (4) teams qualified as Open Finalists of the Asia Schools Open - British Parliamentary 2023. Stay tuned until the end of the video and measure the merit of the cases presented by the different sides of the house. Is it really better to live in a world where relationships are purely transactional?
Info Slide:
Transactional relationships are a type of romantic relationship where the primary purpose to both parties is to extract some kind of utilitarian value (e.g. convenience of shared housing, financial viability, etc.) with explicit obligations and conditions negotiated by the parties. Non-transactional relationships are romantic relationships where both parties believe that the relationship primarily serves to provide some sort of intrinsic nonutilitarian value.
