zoer.ai has been getting some attention recently and I thought I would jump in to see if this is the next generation of #vibe coding project builders. Not only does #zoer appear to build good looking frontends it also claims to build backend services including persisting data in it's own database. In this video I put these claims to the test. How do you think I got on?
Note: I did realise after I edited the video that the starter plan was probably only geared up to provide 10 credits. It appears $15 per month would indeed give you 60 credits per month. This was not clear to me when I initially purchased the starter plan.
Initial prompt used is at the bottom of this description.

Prompt:
I want you to build the foundation for a production-grade **online course platform**.
This first step should:
1. Let you create the database schema you think is appropriate for the full system (users, courses, lessons, enrolments, certificates, etc.), based on the features I describe below.
2. Focus design work only on the **public-facing brochureware site**.
3. Do not implement any functionality or portal features yet — these will be handled in later prompts.
Overall platform (for database context only)
Learners will be able to browse courses, enrol, complete lessons, and earn certificates.
Admins will be able to create courses, manage lessons, track enrolments, and send announcements.
Certificates are awarded when all lessons in a course are completed.
Contact form submissions should be stored for review.
Do not implement any of this logic now. Just infer the database schema you need for these capabilities.
Pages to design in this step
**Home page**: hero section with headline, subheading, and placeholder CTA button (“Browse Courses”).
**Courses page**: a grid layout for courses (cards with placeholders for title, category, short description).
**Course detail page**: layout for course overview (hero image/banner, placeholder for description, syllabus outline area, instructor bio, and an “Enrol Now” button).
**About page**: layout with placeholder copy for company story and instructor bios.
**Testimonials page**: grid or cards with learner quotes, names, and photos.
**Contact page**: styled form layout (name, email, message), with a thank-you state.
Design system
Apply a *clean, modern aesthetic* inspired by the reference images I will provide.
Use card-based layouts, consistent spacing, clear typography, and a professional but approachable look.
Ensure responsive behaviour for desktop, tablet, and mobile.
Respect accessibility (colour contrast, focus states, readable font sizes).
Important notes
You should go ahead and create the database schema for the project based on the described features, so it is ready for later prompts.
Do not implement authentication, enrolment logic, certificates, or admin/student portal functionality yet.
This prompt is **design + database scaffolding only**.
The look and feel should follow the reference images, but functionality will be added progressively in later steps.
