🤍♥️Apple cookies
3 apples grated
1/2 cup butter
2-3 tablespoons oil
2eggs lightly beaten
1/2 cup white sugar( with apples)
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/4 tsp salt
1 tabsp baking powder
2.5 cup All purpose flour
Cook grated apples in 2 tabsp butter- with sugar & cinnamon. Reduce & let it cool completely.
Beat egg sugar salt till fluffy. Add butter. Then add flour to have a soft dough. Shape the cookie, fill it up with apple filling. Chill for 15 minutes.
Bake at 350F for 10 -12 minutes or until turned golden.
♥️🤍Plum Cake
1 cup orange juice
1.5 cup dry fruits
½ cup sugar
¼ cup milk or juice (instead of water)
1½ cups whole wheat flour (atta)
2 eggs (room temperature)
½ cup oil
¼ cup milk
1 tsp almond essence
1 tsp cinnamon powder
1 tsp ginger powder
½ tsp baking powder
¼ tsp baking soda
½ cup chopped nuts & pumpkin seeds
Bake at 170-180C for 40 minutes
Method (Follow in Order)
1️⃣ Cook Dry Fruits
Add dry fruits + 1 cup juice to pan
Cook on low flame 3–4 minutes only
Switch off and cool completely
2️⃣ Make Caramel (as explained above)
Prepare caramel
Mix it into cooked fruits
Let it cool
3️⃣ Prepare Wet Mixture
In a bowl:
2 eggs
Whisk lightly (do NOT overbeat)
Add oil, milk, almond essence
Mix gently
4️⃣ Prepare Dry Mixture
Sift together:
Wheat flour
Baking powder
Baking soda
Cinnamon
Ginger
Add seeds if you want
5️⃣ Make Batter
Add dry ingredients to wet in 2 parts
Fold gently
Add fruit + caramel mixture
Batter should be thick but flowing
👉 If thick, add 1–2 tbsp milk
6️⃣ Bake
Grease & line cake tin
Pour batter, level gently
Top with nuts/fruits
Bake at 170–180°C for 40–45 minutes
✔ Check at 40 minutes✔ Cover with foil if top browns early
7️⃣ Cool & Rest
Cool 15 min in tin
Cool fully on rack
Best taste after 12–24 hours
Step-by-Step: NO-FAIL Caramel Method
1️⃣ Take a heavy panAdd ½ cup sugar👉 No water at this stage
2️⃣ Heat on LOW flame only
Sugar will first melt
Then turn light golden brown
⚠️ Do NOT stir with spoonJust swirl the pan gently.
3️⃣ Watch the colour carefully
Light amber = PERFECT
Dark brown = bitter (don’t go there)
4️⃣ Lower the flame completelyNow slowly add ¼ cup liquid (milk / juice / water)👉 Add 1–2 tbsp at a time
⚠️ It will bubble — this is NORMAL.
5️⃣ Stir continuously
Any hard sugar will melt again
Caramel becomes smooth and pourable
6️⃣ Switch off the flameYour caramel is ready ✔
