It’s been a while since we've featured one of these on the channel, but against all the odds (and a hefty workload!), Stew managed to vlog this Defender 2.4 to demonstrate our Stage 3 engine tune on this 90.
Arriving to Alive, this TD4 Defender was completely stock and made good, healthy power on the dyno as was. We then proceeded to install our awesome Alive Ultimate Intercooler and Alive stainless-steel sports exhaust, retaining the original air filter, downpipe with catalyst and a fully operational EGR as usual.
The transformation provided by these components, dialled in with our highly developed engine calibration, has given this Land Rover a totally different character, with greatly enhanced drivability and a whopping 150Nm extra torque, delivered without any exhaust smoke and in our signature, silky smooth style.
