Inclusive L&D Essentials—The fundamentals of inclusive L&D

In this session, we will lay the foundation for inclusive L&D by discussing what inclusive L&D is and why it is important.

​We will define and clarify core concepts in L&D, including diversity, equity, inclusion, belonging, intersectionality, equity and equality, accessibility, and inclusivity.

​We will also explore how inequities can show up in the L&D system. And how not recognising this can lead to inadvertently strengthening these inequities in L&D.

​​Ingeborg Kroese, EdD, MSc designs and delivers world-class L&D programs. In addition, she conducts academic research and publishes her findings on the diversity, equity, inclusiveness and accessibility (DEIA) of L&D programs.
