2nd day in warangal। The Lost City of Legends

Started my road trip to warangal from Hyderabad. Spent 1st day in visiting 1000 pillar temple, Maa Bhadrakali Temple and Warangal fort. After visiting Warangal fort, we headed to Ramappa and stayed at Ramappa lake side TSRCT Haritha Resort.

Started 2nd day tour by visiting Ramappa Temple in the morning. Ramappa Temple, also known as the Rudreswara temple, is a Kakatiya style Hindu temple dedicated to the Hindu god Shiva, located in Palamet village, Mulugu district, Telangana, India. It is 15 km from Mulugu, 66 km from Warangal, 209 km from Hyderabad. (2nd day in warangal)

We, then enjoyed Ramappa Lake and after having breakfast, we are off to Laknawaram Lake. Laknavaram Lake is located around 6 km away from Govindaraopet Mandal which is around 75 km away from Warangal. If you are coming from Warangal, you are required to drive on NH 202 in the direction of Mulugu. After a straight drive, crossing Mulugu and Jangalapalli, you need to take a right turn and drive for 7 km to reach the lake. This 7 to 8 km of drive through the stretch of refreshing greenery gives a perfect start to your relaxing visit to the lake. (2nd day in warangal) Although, the lake was dry as monsoon yet to come.
