Getting some real performance numbers. There's just no substitute for real measurements.
Sorry about leaving the title showing the whole time. I didn't notice until it was too late.
I should soon have a 1000 pound force gage and we'll revisit this subject with an eye on how much oomph we can actually apply to the carriage. The standard T = KDP screw force equation says I should be getting between 600 and 1200 pounds right now. We shall see.
