Some makeup brands differ in their definition of Warm vs. Cool tones so it can be confusing for most. I understand that since the term 'warm' can be associated with deeper skin tones it is not the case for most.
It is determined by your undertones.
WARM - if you see a lot of RED on your skin
COOL- if you have a lot of YELLOW on your skin.
This is universal based on the color wheel & from what I learned as a former MAC makeup artist & now as a hairstylist.
