Riot - Kick Down The Walls Bass Cover

A Riot cover after long, from the classic 'Narita'. It may be the first proper full fledged American heavy metal album. But somehow they have not got the recognition they deserved, they are among the great pioneers like priest, motorhead, venom, saxon and accept. Still I will try to taise their banner high, like I do for many metal bands from time to time. Coz for me, they are great and they are influential to me.

Pretty simple and still a heavy track with draggy riffs and draggy guitar and bass tone, a unique one and simply love it. Simple rock n roll basslines and riffs, which mostly follow each other, drums occupy the complete track and never does it feel empty, though the riffs have a lot of breaks. Badass vocals and overall feel of the song!

No major challenge here, it took me 20 minutes to learn the song and another 10 record it, which has not happened in a long long time and still came out perfect. Seriously a song for metal beginners on bass. Figured out the tabs by isolating the bass from the mix.
