Hi folks! In October 2025, I visited a beautiful trail called the Pirunkirkon Patikka or Devil's Church Hike located near Yläne in southwestern Finland. The trail runs along a series of steep rocky ridges interspersed by gullies. The tallest of these forested ridges is the Devil's Church. Along the way I marvel at the scenery. I camp overnight under a tarp and test out a new air mattress and a German Army bivy bag. I had hoped to camp in a cave located along the trail, but it was already occupied when I got there, so I used my tarp-bivy setup instead. I will return in the future to try camping in the cave.
