NO MORE PERMITS Appalachian Trail 2025 Thru Hike Day 167 Abol Bridge to Birches Campsite Baxter

9.8 mile hike from Abol Bridge to Birches Camp in Baxter State Park on the Appalachian Trail Thru Hike. Grabbed permit early in the morning and than hiked into Baxter State Park to check in at Ranger Station. Only 12 Permits to stay at Birches Camp Site and are provided each day to thru hikers that hiked thru the 100 mile wilderness. You must arrive on time to get in line to be one of the first come first served hikers to gain access to the Birches Campsite in Baxter State Park.
