Most Americans are completely unaware that there are 4 nations that comprise the United Kingdom. Even less Americans are aware that one of those nations is Northern Ireland. As a matter of fact they also have no idea that Ireland separated into 2 parts either! To be honest I used to be one of them, which is why I am extremely interested to react and learn about the history of Northern Ireland from my American point of view.
