How to fix a broken Meade ETX telescope knob (3D print a new one!)

I recently bought a "new" [used] Meade ETX 70at telescope and broke the thing on the first night. Specifically, I broke the vertical declination lock knob, which is made of brittle plastic. And since this telescope is an older model, it's very difficult to find parts to replace it. So here's a story on how I was able to 3D print a new one!
