We had never heard of the Flaming Gorge National Recreation Area until we started planning this road trip. It's amazing what areas you can discover by spreading out a map of the United State and searching for the more unknown areas. Sometimes, it's these lesser known areas that bring the WOW factor. We enjoyed the 4th of July weekend out on the water in a pontoon boat, did an amazing hike, and finished the week with swimming and fishing. This is definitely a place worth visiting!!
