This week I shared a roundup of some emerging tech that's reshaping developer workflows and DevOps.

First up, Visual Studio has introduced Agent Mode in preview—an evolution for those already using GitHub #Copilot and #AI chat agents. It goes beyond suggestions by offering hands-off automation and a more agentic approach, effectively handing over parts of the development process to AI. I’m planning to integrate it into my own flow and see how it holds up.

On the DevOps side, "Agentic DevOps" could alleviate that all-too-familiar CI/CD babysitting tax. It's an exciting concept promising to remove much of the manual overhead in deployment pipelines, shifting more of the burden onto intelligent automation.

We also looked at a useful blog post about using PowerShell to audit operations on Azure AD (Microsoft Entra) applications. Whether you're troubleshooting authentication issues or just want better visibility, this is a great tool for your belt.

Finally, I talked about the Microsoft 365 Copilot Dashboard via Viva Insights. It gives a 28-day view into adoption and ROI per team or user, helping businesses track actual Copilot value before scaling license investments.
