Claude Dupras 1951-1991.
In 1972 he represented Canada in the Yamaha International Grand Prix Concours in Japan, and was awarded the grand prize.
He took a position with Yamaha Canada as Electone/Keyboard Specialist and toured extensively visiting Asia, Australia, South Africa and Europe as well as his native Canada.
The "Do You Want To Hear Something Incredible" tour demonstrated the newest stage model: the Yamaha Electone HX-1 in 1987. The concert in this video occurred at the Althouse College auditorium at the University of Western Ontario in London, Ontario in May of 1987.
About the recording:
This was recorded off of broadcast cable television, by a JVC HR-D225U VCR onto Scotch Color Plus T-30 VHS tape at EP speed with linear mono tracks. The original broadcast was produced by McLean-Hunter Cable Television.
It has been transferred to digital using OBS Studio software. The audio was equalized as best as possible to reduce noise and improve frequency response, but it is a product of its source. The video had a slight contrast boost, but other than that, it was untouched.
