Ramesh Raskar, who co-invented a camera to “see around corners,” portable eye testing devices that are used in 90-plus countries worldwide and a method for “reading” through closed books, gives the keynote address at the 2019 Doctoral Hooding Ceremony at UNC-Chapel Hill.
Raskar, who holds 90 patents, received his doctoral degree in computer science from UNC-Chapel Hill in 2002.
