CINQUE TORRI | Episode 8 | SHOOTING the DOLOMITES | Leo's Photography Guides

It took me 7 episodes before "facing" one of the most classic views of the entire Dolomites - the Cinque Torri. These fairly small rocky towers became a symbol of the mountains around Cortina d'Ampezzo and of the entire Dolomites range as a whole.

It is arguably one of my favorite locations of the Dolomites too - let me explain why: the "Torri", as beautiful as they can be, are not the main reason. The main reason are the views that you can get, everywhere you turn. From the Lagazuoi to the Tofana di Rozes, from the Croda da Lago to the Averau, there's not a single part of the panorama that isn't breath-taking.
From a photography perspective, it's exactly the same: we are not talking about different perspectives here, but entirely different subjects! That's what makes it so fun to visit and shoot - the wide range of subjects that you have within a fairly small area and the variety of compositions that you can achieve - at any time of the year.

Sorry for the few windy sections here and there throughout the video. I did my best to find shelter but in some locations the breeze was just too strong and I couldn't avoid it!
