Cannes is this beautiful city on the French Riviera, with a splendid Promenade where you can walk, sit, enjoy a cup or glass of anything; sandy beaches and crystal waves. It is lively both on rainy and sunny days. It has great views over the port from the old town and plenty of inviting hotels all along the promenade. I would not try the bathroom at the train station though ;)
