Before scoring a newly-composed piece for the full Orchestra, Barry Gray would often record himself playing it on the piano to give his employer an idea of what he had in mind for a film or TV Score. In this video, I have dubbed his recording of the Zero-X Final Assembly over the final footage as it appeared in the film Thunderbirds Are Go (1966). The end result is interesting and works really well.
