Elementary PE Warm Up Games: Partner Pacer (Running)

This is a great warm up game and good practice for the real Pacer test. I use this as a 10 minute warm up if kids have a hard time keeping their hands to themselves and need to boost moral in my class. In this lesson I have students give each other a high five to promote good sportsmanship. During the Partner Pacer it gives students a break to get a drink of water or tie their shoes while their partner is running. I normally use the hip-hop version that has more upbeat music when doing the Pacer.    • FitnessGram PACER Test Remix! 20-Meter
